Proximity is the advantage that matters here. Network facilities sit minutes from CN’s Brampton Intermodal Terminal and CP’s Vaughan Intermodal Terminal — the two rail gateways through which most of Central Canada’s import volume flows — plus Pearson’s air cargo corridor. Same-day turns from rail ramp to outbound truck are routine, and drayage legs stay short enough to hold costs down.

For importers, several GTA facilities in the network are CBSA-bonded, so freight can be destuffed and staged under customs control before duties are paid — useful when goods are transshipping onward or awaiting release timing.
